Jay Tinney is a BBQ champion and pitmaster who has won numerous awards throughout the state of Texas. In 2003, he bought his first pit on the side of the road, and since that day his passion for grilling and smoking was ignited. For over 15 years, he has been the head competition chef on several of the largest teams at the Austin Rodeo. Jay takes great pride in the flavor of his competition meats and is now bringing that level of excellence to Tinney Barbecue and your catering needs.

The Trailer
Tinney Barbecue’s trailer is not your everyday food trailer. It is a well made state of the art cooking machine with a 500 lb. capacity rotisserie smoker and a 7 ft. wide grill. It is equipped to serve for small or even huge events. It is a one of a kind hand built trailer made in Indiana and will be a unique addition to your special event. Jay architected every inch of the trailer’s capabilities to offer two flat screen televisions with satellite on-site location for your favorite football game, tailgate or family reunion.. Tinney Barbecue can deliver as well.
